Pre- Green Room "Patron Night"

Wow what an epic night it turned out to be at the Green Room. Sadly the Red Wings lost their home opener to the Maple Leafs but currently won their last two road games against tough teams like Ottawa and Carolina. Friday morning I woke up hng over like a mother fucker and got dressed and packed up to drive home. After an hour session of listening to Craig and Teddy, I arrived at my place in Wabeek. After a nice relaxing nap I went to get a late lunch with my majjj and fajjj at Olgas on Telegraph. What a great meal, fucking epic actually. I returned home to chill factory with Dudley Fenkell for a while before I had my boy Bello come over and chill. I spent the rest of that night chilling with my friends Bello and Arielle. The next morning my majjj woke me up to hit the golf course with my fajjj at my country club, Knollwood. I hadn’t played in over 4 months but before that I was playing quite a but so my game wasn’t that bad. I played with my fajjj and his two buddies Richard and Jerry Minkin. We all played a quick 9 holes so I could make it home in time to watch my Spartans play Northwestern. At halftime of the Northwestern game Bllo my fajjj and I went outside to throw the pigskin around for a little. After some great catches I made it back inside to watch the second half. What a nice 37-20 victory by the boys. The rest of Saturday was spent either lifting weights or smoking poopourrie. I passed out early Saturday night due to another early tee off time with my fajjj. I was woken up by my majjj and Dudley at around 9 a.m. to meet with my fajjj at Knollwood at 930. I got there on time and hit the links with 2 of my dads friends again who were better eachother. Andrew Moss and Mr. Nathan. Quite a match they had while my fajjj and I were just chillin out relaxing all cool shooting some golf balls and smoking a lot of poo. I played well once again and got off the links at 12:30 so I could make it home before the Lions game started. I enjoy watching our team play although we lose basically every game we play. We lost against the Vikings 12-10 on a last second field goal. We played really well though I feel, and showed a lot of heart. Bu a loss is a loss. Were now 0-5. Sunday was comprised of watching Football and Baseball. I returned to my home in East Lansing around 7 p.m. for a group meeting for my COM 402 class. I finished my meeting, lifted some weights, played some Mario Kart and passed out. I didn’t have class till 4  on Monday so I woke up at noon and went to Eagle Eye to lift with my boy Wolf from 2 to 4. I got home after lifting, skipped class, showered, ate dinner, went to my class from 6 to 850 and then got ready for my hockey practice at 9. Practice went well last night as I sniped numerous times and played real well. I had a bad collision with a teammate during our scrimmage at the end of practice which left a mark on my left shoulder/collarbone area but ill be ok. After hockey I returned home exhausted and soon there passed out. Today I had class at 1020 which was absolutely brutal and a waste of time but I went for attendance points. I went to eat at Tonys after to get a late breakfast, hit Eagle Eye again hard for another hour finishing with a nice sauna session. Now I am in my ADV 325 class listening to Bob Kolt. Its 520 p.m. on a glorious Tuesday afternoon.

This Thursday is gonna be epic in the Green Room as Patron sponsors our party. I have some real legends coming to Dublin that night from Ann Arbor. Wachler, Hiller, Schram, and Monair with a maybe from Smook. All in all everything is epic and going well. I’ll keep you updated on the rest of my week.

I promise to keep doing big things in small places.

The Future Of Entertainment

Tuesday. Ohhh what a Tuesday. Today is a big day for Future Entertainment, aka the Promotional Group I work for. Today we have a meeting with Harry, the owner of Lou and Harrys restaurant and bar in East Lansing. We will begin talks on the possibility of doing business with him so we’ll see ho that goes. Also, we send out our invite for this weeks Green Room on Thursday. We are stoked about next Thursday already, Patron Night. I am currently in my Philosophy class bored out of my mind. My teacher has a beautiful monotone voice teaching some of the most useless garbage in the history of Fenkelleryageage. I try to focus and motivate myself to learn this poop schwagggles but its tough coach real tough. After class I plan on meeting up with Blake George and Scott Wolf to discuss our future business over a nice brakfast at the Marriott Hotel. Followed by our meeting with Harry. After our meeting Wolf and I plan on going to our gym, Eagle Eye, to go hard in the gym for a few hours before my clas at 430. Hopefully I’ll get there at 1:30 and be there till 3:30ish 4. Tonight I have no plans and really don’t have much work to do I believe so I’ll be Fenkelleryageage chillzing to the highest extent. I’ll keep you in touch with what happens the rest of the day…obviously.

Factoring in my ADV 325 class right now. Bob Kolt, head PR person for East Lansing is the professor. Man dresses professionally for a class in a suit I show up in my usual attire. Gray Roots sweat pants, Tiffany Dunks, and a tight light blue t-shirt. Just got note from Blake that he spoke with the manager the Post bar. We’ll see what comes out of that. I get out of this class at 5:45ish. Gonna hit up Eagle Eye to hit the weights and such. Gotta get in peak condition for hockey season. Only two days until opening night of the Detroit Red Wings vs. Toronto Maple Leafs. 7PM. The finish of the Wings game will be shortly followed thereafter by a nice Green Room session.

Didn’t make it to the gym. Hate myself for it but I will be going after my class today at 4:10. Its my SOC315, Sociology, class that’s a requirement for my Communications degree. Its 2PM on a shitty rainy Wednesday. I played quite a bit of Mario Kart yesterday ranging in between 100-150 games. Pretty wild but time well spent. I relaxed last night until about 9:30 before I headed to Lou Has for our meeting with Harry concerning possible parties. Things were discussed and ended on a very good note. Future Entertainment has great opportunity in its upcoming months or so. I passed out last night to the Presidential debate. I mean I must admit that overall I don’t prefer either of them. That’s why I’m thinking about running for President. If you are interested in voting for me, on the ballot, you will see a Michael Fenkell – Dudley Fenkell (Party= Chillz Factory). We’ll see how it works out. After my class today I have a work out session at Eagle Eye followed by a hockey practice at 9.

Eagle turned out to be great yesterday. I hit the weight room pretty hard. Felt great before my hockey practice—I had more energy and felt stronger on my feet. Anywho, I had a great practice. I came home and hit the showers in order to hit up Lou Has for a meeting with Harry again and to chill with my boys. Sipping on Silver and Gold Patron on the rocks tasted great. We made some plans for a party the 22nd of October. Its gonna be called Classy Wednesdays at Lou Has. Patron Night is still next Thursday and should be epic. I had my Philosophy class this morning at 1020. Got my exam back-- 3.0. Not too shabby considering I hate the material and have no interest in it. I went to eat at Tonys with Blake and Wolf to discuss tonight’s Green Room party and the new Classy Party at Lou Has. I have a quiz today in my Public Relations class at 430. Immediately after class I plan on hitting up Dublin to set up the Green Room for tonight. Opening night for the Red Wings game starts at 7. I plan on watching the first period at my place on Evergreen, going to Lou Has for the second, and then hit the Snug room in the Green Room at Dublin for the 3rd. Should be pretty epic. Ill keep you updated from my Public Relations class after my quiz.

I just took my quiz it went fine. I am thinking about two things right now. A) How can I get out of this class early, and B) Green Room Thursdays. After class I plan on going to Dublin to set up our DJ booth and night in itself. The Wings game comes on at 7pm. Cant wait to see the banner raised in Joe Louis. Also can’t wait to see number 81, Marian Hossa, step foot on the ice at the Joe for his first regular season game. Besides that I’m still living the dream and maintain my status of doing big things in small places.

Remember when in doubt, ask yourself-- WWFD….

Purple Tree and The Green Room

Today is a beautiful Monday in East Lansing. I had class today at 4:10 and am currently sitting in my 6 oclock class. I’m in my Communciation class that just started. Its only one day a week for 6 weeks, aka the last 6 weeks of first semester. Last night my majj and fajj came up to my place in EL and took my roommates, Courtney, and I out to dinner. We went to PF Changs a great Chinese restaurant. After dinner I came home to do some work, watch some football and baseball, then pass out. I woke up this morning at 11:30 am. Nice time to wake up on a Monday. I woke up and played some Mario Kart against Crane. Pushed his poo poo in 10-2. I then proceeded to go to Kinkos Fed Ex to send my younger brother Jeffrey a few things to his dorm room in Foster in Bloomington. I get out of my 6 oclock class at 8:50 followed by a hockey practice at 9. I have been working on this assignment I have to do for my public relation class. I am making a fact sheet for The Friendship Circle Foundation. Besides that all else is well. I will let you know how practice goes tonight. I forgot to mention that I was recently informed that my hockey team voted me an assistant captain for my final year in quest to win the National Championship.  I arrived at practice a little late because of my class getting out at 850 obviously. I got dressed quickly and hit the tiles in route to a great practice in which we practiced our break outs, power plays, and finally finished with a scrimmage. During the scrimmage I put the puck in the net quite a bit and let me tell you I get the feeling a lot and its great.

Today also marked the day in which our invitations for our Patron Night at the Green Room in Dublin October 16th were sent out . My partners and I are excited and anticipating the night in which Patron is sponsoring us. The first 200 women to enter the bar that night will receive a free drink, not shot, compliments of patron. Should be prtty E P I C if you ask me. Tomorrow I have class at 1020 am, my philosophy class. I get my exam back that I have been waiting to get back for a while now. After Philosophy I have my public relations class at 430 at the Communication Arts Building. I am about to hit the showers because I currently smell like championship worthy hockey equipment. It is in the 3rd quarter of the Vikings Saints Monday Night Football game and in the bottom of the 8th in the Red Sox Angels game 4. Torii Hunter just hit a 2 out single to knock in Teixera and Vlad Guerrero to tie the game at 2-2. Life is treating me very well though, I feel healthy and in shape for the first time in a while. Almost forgot. I am doing business with Sarah Nathanson and her clothing company Purple Tree. The shirts we designed and ordered should be in by the time of Patron Night so keep an eye out for them on my site in the next few weeks or so. Just wanted to say that I miss my dog Dudley, and my two brothers Jeffrey and Joel.

Senior Year At MSU

Since my arrival back to America my senior year at Michigan State has begun. Pretty wild first two weeks to say the least. I'm gonna do my absolute best to go through every day the best that my memory allows me to. Monday August 28th, 2008. First day of senior year. Not many words can describe how wierd the feeling was to raise my hand in class when the professor asked who the seniors were in our class. I got over it soon afterwards don't get me

wrong. I have one class on Monday Wednesdays at 410 to 530, two classes on Tuesday Thursdays at 1020 and 410, one online class, and a class that begins in October. I still reside in 618 Evergreen with my three roommates Max Smith, David Shiener, and Marc Crane. It is shaping up to be a pretty incredible year filled with the Booobery and Chillz Factoring.

I recently decided to continue playing on the Michigan State Roller-Hockey Team, in quest to win a National Championship my last year of eligibility. We have a great squad with a lot of talent. There is no better feeling for me than to step foot on either the ice or roller hockey rink. My skills although not at my usual premier high are getting better every time I practice, so hopefully by the time the season starts I’ll be ready to put the puck in the net. Some of the players I am truly excited about include Jim Goodliffe, Garrett, and Evan Pomish. As stated prior, I came back to play my final year in the hopes of winning the national Championship and I’ll do whatever it takes to accomplish my goal.

My return home before school included a lot of movement back and forth from home to school also involving more legendary dinners and lunches. To start off I’ll begin by saying that I had a great time at Tamakwa but there is no place like home. The night I returned home Bello came over to see how I was living. I relaxed that Saturday afternoon in preparation for my move up to schhol the following day. It was somewhat inconventient coming home a day and a half before my senior year at Michigan State began but its all good. The following morning I woke up at noon and ventured off to East Lansing with my Majjj and Dudley. Upon our arrival stood both Jack and Izzy, the dogs that live next door to me, which ultimately led to Dudley going crazy as soon as he laid paw out of my Majjjs Lexus. I was so happy for Dudley that day because he got to play with bigger stronger dogs. I say this because personally I love playing hockey or any type of sport against, or with, better stronger faster athletes than myself. This will undoubtedly lead me to become a better athlete who can compete at a higher more skilled level. Once I moved everything into my house I ordered some food from Hungry Howies, ate, and flew home to  get ready for Jeffreys party. Finx Da Minx, threw down at Clutch Cargos, and had about 350 people show up. I thought it was a lot of fun although Jeff was anticipating more people to show. I came home that night and hung out with my close friend Kristin whom I hadn’t seen in roughly a year. I drove to school the next day in order to make my first class at 4:10pm. My classes this year have been the poop schwagggles in every sense of the word but at least I’m going.

I have had a few big events in the past few weeks up to today. First off, I attended a great dinner at the Smith household in Bingham Farms. I actually showed up a little late for the dinner due to a lack of rest, but I still made it for the 3rd period, as Barry Melrose would say. I showed up to a dinner table comprised of all Smith family members. This includes the one and only Danny Smith, a former baseball coach of mine at Andover and lifelong mentor in many facets of life. The funniest man in the world, Rick Smith, and his beautiful wife Kate Smith whose household I was at were obviously there. Max’s grandparents Joanne and Don were there as well. Kate soon brought me out a delicious hamburger with mushrooms and burnt onions - it was great. I also had a nice salad and Gatorade to go along with the burger. We all sat at their dinner table talking about anything and everything. I reminisced with Danny about old times at Andover and spoke about my past summer at Tamakwa. Overall it was an incredible experience and conversation with a group of great people, great enough, I feel, to mention this dinner in my blog entry and give thanks to all of the Smiths for being great people to my family and I.

This upcoming Thursday I am throwing a party at Dublin Square in East Lansing. It is called The Green Room. My fellow partners are Blake George, Scott Wolf, and Michael Dabish. Should be the chronz bonz. Ill keep you updated and let you know how it goes.

Hockey starts soon, tryouts just finished. We have a great squad as I stated earlier. Im stoked about it. Kep you updated on everything shortly.
