Ive been in Toronto since the 19th relaxing and making sure Courtney gets to her swim class to get her Bronze Cross. She passed it yesterday, so now we are officially ready to head up to Tamakwa. The shores of South Tea Lake are only a few short hours away so I am excited to be this close. I will be driving tomorrow afternoon arriving at camp around 3:30ish. What happens after that is going to be epic in every sense of the word. Fortunately, for all of you I will be updating as often as possible with anything wild and crazy that occurs each day.
I picked up Courtney from the airport (DTW) with my little brother Jeffrey on the 19th. Once we grabbed her, we made our way back to my house in Bloomfield to pack up my car with both of our duffle bags. We left my house unsure as to whether the immigration/working permit office was still open as it was already 5pm. But to our delight we found out at the border that it was open 24 hours a day. We entered after Jeremy, the border official, told me that I will have a great time up at Tamakwa this summer. Jeremy handed me a yellow ticket and told me to head over and park.
We made our way out of the office with both of our permits and arrived in Toronto at 9:30pm. That night was a lot of fun. Ordered Classico Luigis Pizza and some garlic bread. I stayed in because it was a long day full of driving.
Before I left I had to say goodbye to Dudley. I didnt cry, nor did he, but we both knew what was happening.
The following morning I woke up in anticipation of the U.S. Open. Ross and I dropped off Courtney at the Shendys Water Aquatics at the Yorkdale school. The rest of the day was spent watching golf. Picked up Court and basically headed back to the place for the night as she exerted quite a bit of energy from 10am to 6pm. Actualy, I almost forgot but Court and I went to get liquor at the LCBO at like 9:50pm and ended up just a minute late when it closed at 10. Great effort no doubt but it was the first of a few attempts to purchase something and failing. It was pretty funny to watch us though as we were stressing and rushing to find the LCB store in the mall close to the apartment building.
Sunday-yesterday- was an action packed day. Dropeed Court off to take her final swim test- and layed out for a few hours with the likes of Corey Wiseberg and Howard Migdal. Last night after a wonderful dinner with David Mindell and Leah his gf, we went to Cheval, a booobonic chronic night club that is owned by one of my friends here. We got right in and had our own table and booth located right next to the DJ. Gripped a few bottles of Absolut and went from there. Courtney looked stunning and had a wonderful time herself. Not much is remembered from that night besides dancing to some sick Teddy remixes and Lady Gaga.
Today I spent time with Courtney walking around Toronto in search of some hockey tape. Failed miserably as I went around to 10 different stores. She picked up a watch and some calcium pills. Tonight I'm going to relax and get ready to drive to camp tomorrow.

Sniper Fenkell
Today, Saturday May 23rd, is a big day. Today marks the first day of my NARCH Regional championship Roller-Hockey Tournament. I will be participating in the Junior division- one under the pro division- as I was asked to play on it by Seth Rogers. This is the first time that my older brother Joel and I will be suiting up alongside one another with the same purpose- put the puck in the net as often and consistently as physically possible. Our team name is the Slingshots: Here is the link to the site:

I thought that this was the perfect time to hear from Joel and his feelings on this monumental day. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Joel Fenkell:
Hello there! Wow, not every weekend you get to play with a top 5 collegiate roller hockey player, but that's the case today. With a hand picked select squad ranging from the outskirts of Lithuania to the cold mountains of northern Denmark, this team has it all. If the team can stay away from the hiatus of drugs, alcohol, and fast metro Detroit woman that are omnipresent, this team could...go...all...the...way. With offensive firepower, defensive prowess, and a goaltender nicknamed "Barry," beating our team could be tougher than walking if you have two legs. With that said, drop of the puck is tonight at 6:20pm and the game should be in hand by 6:22pm. Till then hockey fans...
