Decided to stop posting daily things on my website and continue with my blog. People have expressed their distaste and disspointment due to my lack of updates on the blog. MSU roller is going great...Spec Howard School of Broadcasting is treating me great as well...just trying to put myself in the best situation to get a job I'm happy with...I was able to broadcast the Outdoor Winter Classic at Clark Park between Cranbrook and Catholic Central. I had the best interview of my life with Doug Brown, former Detroit Red Wing. My family is doing great...Joel is becoming a golfer is San Diego...Jeffrey is back in Detroit working at CPK...my majjj quit smoking a few days ago...Bobby is about to open up a business....I'll post shortly...i keep on climbing up on the hits list....almost at 41,000...Vajjjsicles
Monday November 16th- Drove back to Specs from East Lansing. Had a wild weekend. Went to the Red Wings game with Courtney for her date party.Worked on all my assignments and papers due this week.
Tuesday November 3rd- Had class this morning. Stayed in EL instead of going back to Southfield for Specs. Had some stuff to take care of. I have to go to a movie showing for a class tonight at the COM building. All is going well.
Halloween 2009: I had a wonderful time for Halloween weekend. Friday night I drove to EL after class. I dressed up as Aladdin and Courtney was Jasmine. We went out to Lou Has. The next day we drove back to West Bloomfield. We went out to Royal Oak. Ronin Bar was legit. Saw some great kids. Some kid took a picture of Court and I in a Leos Coney Island late night becasue he thought we actually were Aladdin and Jasmine. Pretty funny.
Wednesday October 21st- Woke up at noonish. Had class at Specs. Got back in the audio studio to work on using the talkboard. Got a really solid raio show saved on mini-disc. After I met up with Brad Labret. We chilled at Zeidmans before heading back to his place to get some Ronin for dinner. Then I came home and began working on my News Read on camera I have the next day. Hope I can do well and stay calm, comfortable, and confident.
Monday October 12th- Took my PLS334 Exam at 1020 in Berkey Hall. Immediately drove to Southfield for my first day at Specs. It was a good first day. I got to meet my classmates and the faculty I'l be working with. Its gonna be real legit.
Sunday October 11th- I began the morning by watching the Lions. Watched the end of the Presidents Cup before driving back up to EL. I have an exam on Monday in the morning before I have to drive back home to Southfield for my 1st day at Spec Howard.
Saturday October 10th- Woke up around noon. Went to play 18 holes with my fajjj at Bay Pointe. After that I came back home to chill and watch Tiger.
Friday October 9th- Got some Tony's for breakfast.. Had hockey practice at 4pm. Drove home after to see Dudley and my majjj, who is now on Day 6 of quitting smoking cigarettes.
Thursday October 8th- Woke up at 7am to roll over to Smitty's house to look over notes before our COM375 Exam.Walked out feeling relieved. Chilled the rest of the day. Went out to Lou Has with Cooper Troopers, Craig Phillips, and Matt Busch. Ended up at Ricks American Cafe with Scott Wolf. Courtney met up with us in Ricks for a little while. Phillips made my food at Ricks, it was wild. Had a party at Courtney's with Anna Christian, CPW, and myself once we returned back to Linden Street.
Sunday October 4th- Watched NFL action all day. Finished it off by watching Bored to Death, Curb your Enthusiasm, and Entourage. Even studied for my exam on Thursday.
Saturday October 3rd- My mother showed up in East Lansing for the Michigan game. We went to the Post, had some drinks and a good time. She left soon thereafter. Spartans won 26-20 in OT. Couldnt have been more E P I C.
Friday October 2nd- 2nd Annual PutinFenkell.com Charity Golf Outing. 26 out of the 28 people made it. What a solid fun time at Hawk Hollow Golf Club. Was definitely a success. I look forward to throwing the 3rd Annual.
Tuesday September 29th- Orientation at Spec Howard School of Broadcasting.
Sunday September 27th- I woke up happy to see Tiger Woods tee off. He ultimately won the 10 million dollars but lost the Tour Championship to Phil Fenkellson. Also, I watched the Detroit Lions snap there 19 game losing streak. Went to Bellos a while after and chilled with him. Watched Entourage and Curb your Enthusiasm.
Saturday September 26th- I woke up to watch Tiger Woods. I had work at 6pm. I valeted from 6 to midnight with Zachary "ZC+3" Chadwick and Gare-Bear.. Crazy shit happened. Someone shattered someones car parked in the parking lot and stole a purse, an Ipod, and cash. Wild. Came home that night and passed out.
Friday September 25th- I slept in today and watched the FedEx Cup Finals. I had our final tryout at 4pm. Soon after I ventured home to West Bloomfield only to find Zack Bello back from Orlandoat my house chillen. We factored for a little before I showered. We then headed up to Ann Arbor for a few hours. We arrived in Ann Arbor at around 11pm. I went over to Spencer Hillers place for a while before we made our way to Ricks with Lanyi, Michilin, Goldis, Shiffman, and Ben Gordon. Great night, ran into some interesting characters and some I havent seen in a while.
Thursday September 24th- I went to class again. I'm such a good student.I relaxed the rest of the evening before I went with Courtney on her semi-formal on a riverboat. After that I went to Lou Has to meet up with Ross Lipson and Marc Crane as it was Marc's 23rd birthday. A hell of a night all around.
Wednesday September 23rd- I went to class and honestly it was a joke, but at least I still went. After that I had to unfortunately re-schedule my Golf outing to October 2nd. I then ran my hockey tryouts for my Roller Hockey team at 9pm.
Tuesday September 22nd- Went to class at 10:20 with Smitty. Went back to Evergreen to chill with Adam Gordon, Max Appelman and co. After that I was dropped off at Courtney's by Smitty and chilled at her place the rest of the night. I actually did help Court and some of her classmates with a quiz they were doing. I'm getting excited for tomorrow. Its the 2nd Annual PutinFenkell.com Golf Charity Outing; Praying for good weather.
Monday September 21st- Drove to school around 6:30pm. Arrived at 7ish. Went to our first tryout for the MSU Roller Hockey team. I conducted some drills and watched some new talents. I left the rink at 10:45pm before I came home to pass out for class the following morning.
Sunday September 20th- So I woke up with a massive headache. I stayed home and watched football basically the whole day. Had some Leo's for dinner.
Saturday September 19th- I started my morning late. I ventured off to Sea Grille for our Rosh Hashanah brunch with the family. I picked up a pair of sweatpants from Roots in Birmingham and followed that by going to Great Lakes Crossing with Courtney, Alex Fenkell, and Max Williams. After that I came home and chilled the rest of the day watching football and baseball.
Friday September 18th- I woke up at 1030ish to shower. Had a nice Diet Orange Sunkist before I left for work. I worked valet again. This time it was from 11am-5pm. Courtney is coming in to stay with me for the weekend. I'm taking her to a surprise dinner at Benihanas in Troy. After dinner we made our way over to Seth Rogers house. Some great kids there; Chase and Seth Rogers, Artur Fruman, Donald Hadesman, Alex Fenkell, Josh Smith and others.
Thursday September 17th- I started my morning by not attending class. Instead I went on a run with Cooper for a mile or so. Ran into Nikki Balaj and some people while running. Soon thereafter I drove home. I worked from 6-10pm for AMS Valet with Jordan Lanyi, Zachary Chadwick, and Danny T. Fisher.I was plannig on going to BlackFen in Royal Oak afterwards but I was too tired so I stayed in and went to bed early.
Wednesday September 16th- Woke up to a nice shower at 9:30am. Courtney made Cooper and I breakfast, a bagel with cream cheese and scrambled eggs. I went to class which was a waste of time, as usual. I also decided to officially have the 2nd Annual PutinFenkell.com Charity Golf Outing. Its at TimberRidge Golf Course in East Lansing next Wednesday at 4pm. I sent out invitations via facebook. Cooper and I went to eat at the Peanut Barrel, ran into Dylan Michilin and Matt St. Jean. Soon thereafter I met up with Courtney at the library where we sat by the river behid the library and laid out in the sun. I picked up Aaron Rivkin again at 8:30pm for our open skate at Dem Hall at 9pm. Had a solid practice. After I flew home to shower before I ventured off to Harpers for a little to drink and then finished off the night at Ricks before Courtney and I walked back to her place to order Jimmy Johns. (On this day exactly 9 years ago: September 16th, 2001, there stood a young man at the alter reading hebrew from the torah to become bar-mitzvah'd at Temple Shir Shalom. So much has happened since then, but one thing has remained a constant; I know how to put the puck in the net...consistently)
Tuesday September 15th- Went to 7-11 on Linden to get a Fuze Tangerine Grapefruit. Smitty picked me up and we went to our COM375 class. Came back to 618 Evergreen to chillz chillz and watch ESPN, my future home. I left Evergreen to come back to Courtneys house on Linden. Ate my Volcano Burrito from last night. Played 4 more games of beer pong against Cooper; won all 4. After a little bit of time I walked to Spartan Spirits and bought Courtney some champagne. I relaxed for a little before I took Courtney to Sansu Sushi where we ate at one of those tables where you have to take your shoes off. After dinner we came back to her place and drank some champagne.
Monday September 14th- Class at 10:20-11:40am. Played beer pong against Wes. Took back and recycled a ton of cans and bottles; made $29.10. Picked up some 312 from 7-11. Watched Juan Martin Del Potro take out Roger Federer in 5 sets. Had hockey practice from 9-10:30pm. Courtney Paige picked me up some Taco Bell, had my volcano burrito minus sour cream with Fire Sauce.
Sunday September 13th- Played golf with my father at Bay Pointe Country Club. Had my uncle Steve come over for a nice little brunch I picked up from New York Bagel. Took Dudley for a nice rollerblade. Headed back to EL for upcoming week.
Saturday September 12th- Played golf with Jordan Lanyi, Kevin Kresch and my fajjj at Pontiac Municipal. Decided not to drive back up to East Lansing for tailgate against Central Michigan at Cooper Wolfsons house on Linden. Good decision
Friday September 11th- Wake up hopefully without a hangover. Either go to open-skate at Dem Hall for roller or drive home from East Lansing to my new place in West Bloomfield. Played a round of golf with my boy Artur Fruman at Wabeek. Watch more FedEx Cup Golf Playoffs in Illinois and US Open Tennis in New York. Take Dudley for a nice little rollerblade.
Thursday September 10th- Class at 10:20-11:40am (COM 375). Watch Juan Martin Del Potro and Rafael Nadal play. Got the first round of the BMW Championship, gotta watch Tiger Woods. Opener for the NFL season; Pittsburgh vs. Tennessee. Tigers vs. Royals.
Wednesday September 9th- Courtney's 21st Birthday. Class at 10:20-11:40am (Political Science 334). Watch Roger Federer to reach his 22nd straight semi-finals in a major. Roller Hockey practice at 9:00-10:30pm. Go to the POST Bar with Courtney and some of her friends after hockey.
